AMPL is available for many popular combinations of computer and
operating system. The table below shows the platforms on which
AMPL is supported directly from AMPL Optimization LLC. If a
platform you want to use is not listed, let us know; we may be
able to build you a version, particularly if you can arrange for
us to do so on your computer.
The 64-bit column indicates platforms that have 64-bit versions for which we offer 64-bit binaries, permitting access to greater amounts of memory. Note that on platforms that support both 32- and 64-bit applications, a 32-bit AMPL together with a 64-bit solver may suffice. Some solvers may not be available for all environments; some vendors may not support all of the listed environments, but may support others not listed. Contact individual vendors for details.
