AMPL Plus offered a graphical user interface to AMPL and to the CPLEX
and MINOS solvers, running under Microsoft Windows. Development and
maintenance of AMPL Plus were discontinued in 2002, however, and its
CPLEX-based license expired at the end of 2002. Thus AMPL Plus users need to switch to an alternative AMPL version
for 2003. Currently it is possible to download any of several experimental GUIs, as well as the standard AMPL based on a command-line interface. New GUIs for AMPL are under consideration and will be announced as they become available.
